The hotel is excellent desicion for young people. a few minutes from shopping center and night life. No priblems with guests in your room. Clean rooms and unexpensive rooms with free internet, good computer with the skype opportunity . Good value for money. t

There are no a swimmimg pool and its own territory with garden. The hall is not respectable.

I like the price for the facilities provided, after all a hotel room is pretty much the same the whole world over. this hotel is not flash, but it suits many travellers on a budget.

The slowness of the lift is a constant source of annoyance, but you are on holiday, so another minute or two is not the end of the world.

Lamai Hotel was very good value for money. Loved the fact that we had a 42 inch plasma and our own computer in our room! Staff were friendly and helpful! Location is good,right by all the nightlife (bars/restaurants).When we arrived at the hotel we were told that we had been upgraded to the superior room as there were no more double rooms left (double booked us) bonus to us! However I must say that there is not that much difference in the superior rooms and standard rooms, (we got moved when we decided to extend our stay) apart from that the superior rooms are abit more spacious and have a table and chairs and also bath robes/slippers!! Just thought Id mention that for future reference for anyone wondering what they will get if they spend that little more! The only negative thing was that you had to pay for coffee/tea/sugar in your rooms, which was unusal and not good for those who need a strong coffee whengetting up early in the morning (like me ;)!) However the internet was free and unlimited so I shouldnt really complain! Defo recommend to travellers who want a fairly cheap but still above average stay in Patong!!

excellent location,friendly helpful staff.all the staff were great,guy kept the drinks coming and the massage girls were real good.room was comfy big tv computer cleaners were excellent,all in all a great place,taxi men were also good company and helpful.will stay again

No in room safe, hotel receptionist could smile a bit more. Restaurant has almost too much to choose from. Mosquitoes bite your ankles when you dine in the al fresco restaurant.

What i`ve really liked at lamai hotel was my room....one of the best ever!!nice, clean, and spacious!!!also...king size bad...pc and printer,dvd player and a massive 42 inc lcd tv!!internet connection unlimited and free!!!wow....its was fantastic....!!!!!then of course air cond. fridge plenty of drinks and nice roof where was passible to chill out and drink a beer!!!24 hour kitchen open was simply fantastic!!!i was impressed!!!

The location is good. Others are really terrible.

The staff there are really not nice,even can say bad, mean. When we are check out, they requited us to pay 4% more if we pay by credit card.(we never meet this situation before) the room are full of smell and very noisy.

Very confortable rooms, great and friendly staff, perfect position to enjoy Patong nightlife. Definitely best value for money!

The only complaint I have is reception personel , they never smile and always looks like sour people. I think the people who work there must be educated or replaced with a nice personel . Last time when I was there I ask them to wake me in the morning at 7 am to find time to / with PLANE.But they did not care and if I not woke up in good time would miss the plane. They did not apologize either.

I have always stayed in the lamai hotel ever since about 7 years I started going to patong,phuket. Though not the five star hilton hotel, I find the hotel adequately suitable for single customers on a limited financial budget. Never had any problems with staff and the location is perfect(10 to 12 mins) to getting to the beach. Overall. I would always recommend this hotel.

Great to have free computer facilities, big screen tv and large comfortable bedding. Rooms / bathroom clean and tidy and great location. Just far enough to walk to beach and Banglar road, yet far enough away to avoid noise and party atmosphere for peace. Can rent motorbike. Food, shops are close by. Probably the better type of accommodation for this kind of price range. Big thanks to the young lads - restaurant and bar staff are all smiles and service

Reception staff ! If your looking for that respectable, warm, welcoming Thai hospitality - well you wont find it from them.
